Props 3D Fallout Nuka Grenade

What’s more cool than a nuclear grenade? Well, I for one would be hesitant to either lob one of these or keep it in my vest pocket. But such is the awesomeness of video grenades. One of the most visually striking and interesting grenade designs this one begs to be made. There’s also a USB light up ‘Nuka Quantum’ version for a night light display. Very easy glue only design only takes 20min to make.

1. Attach the Bolts

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_BodyBottom_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_FootX4_V1 (4 of them)
  1. Glue the 4 feet into the bottom, they should align with the indents perfectly

Join the Bottom

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_BodyMid_V1
  • 3X 18mm pieces of 1.75 filament
  1. Use the filaments as guides in the holes to align the bottom with the middle
  2. Glue middle and bottom together

3. Assemble the Top

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_TopCap_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Handle_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Button_V1
  1. Glue button onto the top cap by sliding it onto the post with a bit of glue inside the button or on the end of the post
  2. Glue the handle into the two holes on top

4. Finish the Top

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_BodyTop_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Pin_V1
  1. Glue the top cap onto the top body
  2. Put a drop of glue on the pin and insert it into the hole on the top body

5. Join the Middle

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Center_V1
  • 3X 35mm pieces of 1.75mm filament
  1. Insert the filament into the center, make sure it pokes out of both ends.
  2. Put glue in the top where the center attaches and slide it into place using the filament
  3. The filament must be sticking out the bottom of the center after this is done to align the bottom!

6. Add the Rings

  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Arms_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Ring1_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Ring2_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Ring3_V1
  • P3D_NukaGrenade_Ring3_V1
  1. Slide the rings over the arms, there’s indents for alignement
  2. Gluing is OPTIONAL! They will stay in place but a little glue never hurt nobody

7. Add the Frame Parts

  1. Glue the arms onto the body, they should slide snugly into the arm indents on the top

8. Install Bolt Handle

  1. Glue the top assembly onto the bottom, use the filament as guides. The arms should rest against the top ring of the bottom in the indents. Be careful of alignment, it can line up 3 ways with the filament pins but only one way are the arms aligned with the indents!

9. Done!
